London, 04/10/2012. Today LSE (London School of Economics) presented a public lecture called "Interventions: A Life in War and Peace" hosted by the author of the homonymous book, Kofi Annan (seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations, serving two terms between 1997-2006. In 2001, Kofi Annan and the United Nations were jointly awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace). Chair of the event was William Shawcross (renowned writer and broadcaster).<br />
