Il Lungo Viaggio Di Joyce Lussu" (My Home And My Neighbours. The Long Journey Of Joyce Lussu, 1.). From the doc synopsis: «Marco Bellocchio in his interview with Joyce in 1994 talks about her attitude towards life without dreams and illusions, but extremely active, asking her how it's possible to convey the extraordinary things she has lived. […] The period of exile with Emilio Lussu in Paris, the struggles of women in Sardinia, the translations of poets who wrote "useful poetry", the one that comes directly, without too many words to the knowledge of other realities and the feeling. […] But Joyce's travels are not just made up of words: they are above all the stages of her active participation in a common struggle, without distinction of gender, for a more peaceful and just humanity». Joyce Lussu (Born Gioconda Salvadori Paleotti of English origin) was a writer, poet, translator, and a Partisan, Member of the Italian Resistance, with her companion Emilio Lussu (Mr Mill), of the Anti-fascist organization Giustizia e Libertà (2.).
