London, 18/07/2013. Today, the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) held a demonstration against the cuts to the fire service. Hundreds of protesters marched from Monument (the column erected to mark the location where the Great Fire of London started in 1666) to the London Fire Brigade HQ in Union Street, where the budget cuts (which include the closure of 10 fire stations) were being discussed.
