London, 26/07/2014. A week after the c.100,000 people who marched from 10 Downing Street to the Israeli Embassy, today another national demonstration saw tens of thousands of people taking to the street of central London in support and solidarity with Gaza's population, battered by an 18-day long campaign of Israeli sea/air bombardments and by the terrestrial invasion. The number of Palestinians killed during the Israeli raids overtook 1000 people including a large number of children, and thousands of injured people. After gathering outside the Israeli embassy in High Street Kensington, the sea of people marched through central London, ending in Parliament Square. The march was organised by, amongst others, War On Want, Stop The War Coalition, London Palestine Action, FOA - Friends of Al Aqsa, PSC - Palestine Solidarity Campaign, BMI - British Muslim Initiative, Palestinian Forum in Britain, and Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
