Today, various activist organizations, including "London Black Revs", "Reclaim Brixton" and "Save The Brixton Arches", held demonstrations to call for an immediate stop to the gentrification of the area and the alleged "social and racial cleansing" of the historical, multi-ethnic and vibrant community of Brixton, part of the London Borough of Lambeth in South London.
