Giulio Regeni was an Italian Cambridge University graduate (PhD student at Girton College) who was kidnapped, tortured and killed in Egypt while he was researching Egypt's independent trade unions. The body of the 28-year-old researcher was found on a Cairo road on 3 February 2016. According to the autopsy, Giulio died after a vertebra in his neck was fractured. Moreover, his body - found on the Cairo-Alexandria desert road - shown signs of tortures, abrasions - including marks similar to cigarette burns - and fractures. After 4 years of disinformation, depistaggi, reticence, misdirection, the role of the Cambridge University, the role of President Al-Sisi Egyptian regime, after four years of a very difficult investigations for the Italian Police, the Regeni family and thousands of people are still calling for immediate truth about this brutal assassination.
