London, 19/07/2014. Today, c.100,000 people gathered outside Number 10 Downing Street in support and solidarity with Gaza's population, battered by an 11-day long campaign of Israeli sea/air bombardments and by the recent terrestrial invasion. The number of Palestinians killed during the Israeli raids overtook 340 people including a large number of children, and the number of injured people surpassed 2,500. After gathering outside the home of the British Prime Minster, the sea of people marched through central London, ending outside the Israeli embassy in High Street Kensington. The march was organised by, amongst others, War On Want, Stop The War Coalition, London Palestine Action, FOA - Friends of Al Aqsa, PSC - Palestine Solidarity Campaign, BMI - British Muslim Initiative, Palestinian Forum in Britain, and Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
