Rome, 12/09/2019. Today, to mark the inauguration day of "CinecittàinFest", the ReteCinEst (1.) and Altro Ateneo Tor Vergata (2.) held the event called "Il Sogno: Essere Cittadini del Mondo" (The Dream: Being Citizens Of The World, 3.). During the event - supported & presented by Domenico 'Mimmo' Rizzuti (4.), Professor Riccardo Petrella (5.) & Gabriele Giannini (President of ReteCineEst) - the President of the VIII Municipio di Roma (VIII Council/Borough of Rome), Amedeo Ciaccheri (6.), delivered the first "World Identity Card - Earth's Inhabitant" issued in Italy to the former Mayor of Riace, Domenico 'Mimmo' Lucano (who could not attend the event). From the Banning Poverty website: «[…] Strongly confirming the principle that before being white or black, male or female, workers or peasants, Russian or American, Italian or Chinese, German or Chilean, we are all inhabitants of the planet Earth with equal dignity, rights and responsibilities... The ID Card will not have a legal value but a high symbolic value, prophetic. Even if it is not easy to realize the commitment to "contribute to build a humanity capable of safeguarding and taking care of the Right to Life of all the inhabitants of Earth" (as it is written on the ID Card), we know that the only battles lost are those that are not fought».
