London, 15/05/2017. To mark and commemorate Conscientious Objectors' Day members of the public gathered at the Conscientious Objectors' stone Memorial in Tavistock Square. Every year a Ceremony (speeches, poetry, music and a minute of silence) takes place in London to remember the courage of the Conscientious Objectors, people "who has claimed the right to refuse to perform military service" (Source - Wikipedia.org). The event was organised by: Peace Pledge Union, Pax Christi, Conscience: Taxes for Peace not War, Movement for the Abolition of War and Veterans For Peace UK.
