London, 05/06/2017. Today, members of the public, politicians, multi-faith leaders, ambassadors, tourists and police gathered at the vigil in Potters Field Park near City Hall (about a mile from London Bridge and Borough Market) to remember the seven victims of the 3rd of June London Bridge & Borough Market terrorist attack.The commemoration ceremony was led by London's Mayor Sadiq Khan, Secretary of State Amber Rudd MP, Shadow Secretary of State Diane Abbott MP. Other guests included: MET Police Commissioner Cressida Dick, Commissioner Ian Dyson and commander Jane Gyford from City of London Police, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and leaders and members of London's Muslim community.<br />

On 03 June 2017, at around 21:58, a terrorist attack took place in London Bridge & Borough Market, London. The attack began when a white van mounted the pavement and run into pedestrians from the north side of London Bridge. Then, the van stopped on the south of the bridge and the three men (Shazad Butt - 20 April 1990 - a British citizen born in Pakistan, Rachid Redouane - 31 July 1986 - who claimed to be either Moroccan or Libyan and who was not previously known to police, and Youssef Zaghba, 22-year-old of Moroccan-Italian descent who lived in east London and was not a police or MI5 subject of interest), wielding knives and wearing fake explosive vests, ran to Borough Market, where they stabbed people inside restaurants. Ten people (including three attackers) were killed and 48 injured in the attack. Three suspects were shot dead by police. (Caption Updated: 06 June 2017).<br />
