London, 22/10/2014. Today, DPAC (Disabled People Against Cuts), PCS and other organizations, held demonstration outside the Royal Courts of Justice. The aim of the demonstration was to protest against the Con/Dem government plans to close down the Independent Living Fund (ILF) and to follow closely the second court case against the DWP (Department for Work and Pension) on the closure of the Independent Living Fund (ILF). From the DWP website: <<The Independent Living Fund (ILF) delivers financial support to disabled people so they can choose to live in their communities rather than in residential care. ILF is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Work and Pensions>>.
