London, 15/09/2013. Today, thousands of people demonstrated in central London led by "Aurora", a giant (the size of a double decker bus) people-powered polar bear made by Greenpeace activists. The aim of the demonstration - ended outside the Shell HQ in Waterloo - was to defend the Arctic to the oil companies like Shell which are doing exploration to drill it. Similar demonstrations took place in over 110 cities around the world to make a global protest against Arctic destruction.<br />
