London 21/03/2012. Protesters gathered outside Downing Street to demonstrate against George Osborne's budget 2012. When the Chancellor of the Exchequer left his house towards the House of Parliament to unveil the UK Budget 2012, hundreds of people were already outside Downing Street ready for the march which took them to College Green, opposite House of Parliament. College Green is not a casual location because it's the designated area to the major broadcasters for interviewing MPs. Despite police's requests to move out, protesters carried on with their sit-in stopping the routine of the interviews. After a while, a group called "ALARM!" (All London Anarchist Revolutionary Mob), leaded by Ian Bone, took an abandoned TV position to make speeches and display their banner and placards. Then, around 2 PM, Lieutenant-General David Leakey (former British military commander), Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, who is in charge of the security for the Lords, came to College Green asking the protesters to move 20 yards away from the broadcasters positions, but the demonstrators replied firmly: No. At 3 PM, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Eric Pickles (Conservative Party), came to the "occupied" College Green and released an interview inside the BBC Radio 5 Live studio. At the end of the protest, in front of one of the Parliament main exit, the journalist Jon Sopel (BBC Television Presenter, Correspondent and host of the Politics Show) made some interviews avoiding the protester's block.
