Prologue... Golden hours.<br />

Rome, 27-28/07/2018. Tonight, the longest lunar eclipse of the century (so far) took place. The Moon (also called "Blood Moon" because the Earth's satellite turned red) was totally eclipsed by the Earth for one hour and 43 minutes. <br />
As you can notice from the photos of this story, the sky was not completely cleared by clouds, mist and haze.   <br />
From Wikipedia: <<A total lunar eclipse took place on 27 July 2018. The Moon has passed through the centre of the Earth's shadow in what was the first central lunar eclipse since 15 June 2011.<br />
Since it occurred near apogee, this eclipse was the longest total lunar eclipse in the 21st century. Totality lasted approximately 103 minutes. This eclipse's totality lasted for a period "just short of the theoretical limit of a lunar eclipse (one hour and 47 minutes)". The moon remained at least partially in Earth's shadow for a total of four hours.<br />
This eclipse was the second total lunar eclipse in 2018, after the one in January. The eclipse occurred simultaneously with the perihelic opposition of Mars, a coincidence that happens once every 25,000 years.<br />
It was completely visible over Eastern Africa, and Central Asia, seen rising over South America, Western Africa, and Europe, and setting over Eastern Asia, and Australia [...]>>.<br />
