Today, Justice Alliance, Haldane Society of Socialist Lawyers, supported by various trade unions, charities, individual victims of state abuse (for example Paddy Hill, wrongfully imprisoned for 16 years) and other organisations, alongside barristers, solicitors and lawyers held a demonstration in Old Palace Yard outside the Houses of Parliament to protest against the legal aid cuts planned by the Secretary of State for Justice Chris Grayling. Then, the protesters marched to the Ministry of Justice where they held a rally.
