Rome, Italy. 08th March 2023. Today, NonUnaDiMeno (Not One Woman Less, 1.) activists held a direct action in the most famous Rome’s high street, Via del Corso, to protest against "fast fashion" (moda veloce) retailers companies and shops marking the International Women's Day 2023. The demo was called to highlight the issues which activists claimed to be related to the fashion industry: low-paid female work in the third-world / developing Countries (80% of Workers in the industry are women), environment issues such as the huge waste of water and other resources, intensive use of chemical product, immense production of low-quality clothes which easily become garbage and which are not easy to be disposed, low-wages for workers and 14-16 working hours per day, indiscriminate killing of animals for the production of materials and fabrics.      <br />
