Today, "Farmers for Action" (FFA) held a demonstration in central London to protest against the lack of support by the British Government for the agriculture industry and to call for a stricter regulation for supermarkets to use British products instead of "importing cheaper products from abroad". Hundreds of farmers and members of the public from across the UK marched peacefully from Waterloo Place to Downing Street along with cows and sheep.
