London, 10/12/2011. Hundreds of Russian people protested peacefully today outside Parliament. They claimed that the 4th December election in Russia to renew the State Duma (lower Chamber of Russian Parliament) was fraudulent and declared outrage at censorship against independent media. In Russia, United Russia (the party of the former President and actual Prime Minister Vladimir Putin) was declared the winner of the election despite recent census polls demonstrating a clear and major drop in support. Protesters claimed that between 10 to 15% of the votes were stolen from other parties. Putin and his team declared that the electoral frauds were "just fantasies" and all the protesters are "agents provocateur hired by the West" to destabilise the country.
