Today, la Casa Internazionale delle Donne (International House of Women, https://bit.ly/2HT5OXc) held a public meeting called: "Zerocalcare E La Narrazione Del Femminile Nelle Graphic Novel" (Zerocalcare And The Narration Of Feminine In Graphic Novels) hosted by Zerocalcare, AKA Michele Rech, Italy's best-selling graphic novel artist. Chairs of the event were Virginia Tonfoni (Journalist at Alias - Il Manifesto, https://bit.ly/2JogIUz) & Sarah Di Nella (Tuba bookstore, http://www.libreriatuba.it). From Zerocalcare's Wikipedia: <<[Michele Rech] was born in Arezzo & grows up in France & then in Rome. He begins his activity in 2001, when he created a cartoon about the days of the G8 summit in Genoa. At the beginning of 2003 he works as an illustrator for the daily newspaper Liberazione and for several Italian periodicals such Carta and La Repubblica XL, and for the online division of DC Comics, Zuda Comics.[…] On October 2011 he published his first graphic novel, La Profezia Dell'Armadillo, produced by the cartoonist Makkox.
