Today, LSE (London School of Economics and Political Studies) presented a public debate - part of Dahrendorf Forum LSE IDEAS public debate - called "The European Union At The Crossroads: Brexit And After" hosted by Professor Lord Anthony Giddens (British sociologist who is known for his theory of structuration and his holistic view of modern societies, author, former Director of LSE and Emeritus Professor; he is member of the House of Lords), Axelle Lemaire (French Socialist Party politician and French Minister of State for the Digital Sector and Innovation; in 2012, she was elected as Deputy for the Third constituency for French overseas residents in the National Assembly of the French Parliament) and Professor Margaret MacMillan (Canadian historian and professor at the University of Oxford, where she is Warden of St Antony's College. She is a leading expert on history and international relations; she is a great-granddaughter of former British Prime Minister David Lloyd George). Chair of the event was Dr. Robert Falkner (Associate Professor of International Relations at LSE; Co-Director of the Dahrendorf Forum and Academic Director of the TRIUM Global Executive MBA, an alliance between LSE, NYU Stern School of Business and HEC Paris).
