After 5 years of the Coalition Government (Conservatives & Liberal Democrats) led by the Conservative Party leader David Cameron, and one year of David Cameron's Government (Who resigned after the Brexit victory at the EU Referendum held in 2016), British people voted in the following way: the Conservative Party gained 318 seats (42.4% - 13,667,213 votes – 12 seats less than 2015), Labour Party 262 seats (40,0% - 12,874,985 votes – 30 seats more then 2015); Scottish National Party, SNP 35 seats (3,0% - 977,569 votes – 21 seats less than 2015); Liberal Democrats 12 seats (7,4% - 2,371,772 votes – 4 seats more than 2015); Democratic Unionist Party 10 seats (0,9% - 292,316 votes – 2 seats more than 2015); Sinn Fein 7 seats (0,8% - 238,915 votes – 3 seats more than 2015); Plaid Cymru 4 seats (0,5% - 164,466 votes – 1 seat more than 2015); Green Party 1 seat (1,6% - 525,371votes – Same seat of 2015); UKIP 0 seat (1.8% - 593,852 votes); others 1 seat.
The definitive turn out of the election was 68.7%, 2% higher than the 2015.
