Today, the 44th "Citizens' Dialogue" took place at The Royal Institution (RI) in London hosted by Viviane Reding (Luxembourg politician, currently serving as the European Commission Vice-President and European Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship; member of the European People's Party, EPP) and David Lidington (British Minister for Europe; member of the Conservative Party). About 400 people, moderated by Financial Times Political Editor George Parker, discussed with the two politicians about the future of Europe, citizens' rights, the recovery from the economic crisis, present and future of the UK inside the European Union.
