London, 10/08/2013. Today, hundreds of people gathered in Whitehall to demonstrate against new legislation which now criminalises homosexuality in Russia. The aim of the rally was to show support and solidarity to the Russian LGBT (the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community) community, against anti-LGBT violence and the new draconian legislation, which has been put in place by the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
