Today, to celebrate the Nawroz (AKA Newroz and Nowroz), MACRO Asilo (Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome, 1.) presented a series of cultural, artistic and social laboratories (2.) held under the Art installation called "il Tappeto Volante" (Magic Carpet, Flying Carpet). The series of events based on stories, places and itineraries in Rome - but also on poetry, music, dances, and traditional food - were showed, represented and narrated by the exiled communities which celebrate the "Persian New Year". The Nawroz was organised and cured by the Collective Stalker/NoWorking (3.), with the support of Afghanistan a Roma, AMM (Archivio Memorie Migranti), Associazione Cuturale Italo Iraniana Alefba, Centro Socio-Culturale Ararat, CivicoZero.
The 2019 coincides with the celebrations for the Persian New Year 1398, the Nowruz: (Source Wikipedia.org , 3.).
