London, 23/04/2017. Today, hundreds of people gathered at Duckett's Common in Turnpike Lane to celebrate the Haringey's multicultural diverse community and the "Battle of Wood Green" which saw the anti-fascists victory over estimated 1,200 members of the fascist British National Front when they tried to march in Turnpike Lane on the 23 April 1977.
