London, 06/07/2016. Today, anti-war protesters, members of the public and journalists from across the planet gathered outside the Queen Elizabeth II Centre to wait for the report of the "Chilcot Inquiry" (also known as the "Iraq Inquiry"). The report is set to be published today after more than 7 years of a public inquiry based on the British role in the Iraq war compiled by Sir John Chilcot and his team. The Iraq War started on the 20th of March 2003 and ended in 2011. It was led by the US President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair without the approval of the United Nation causing hundreds of thousands of victims, including 179 British personnel. The Chilcot Report is about 2.6 million words divided in 12 volumes. Around midday, members of the families of some of the British personnel killed in the Iraq War released interviews outside the Queen Elizabeth II Centre.
