Rome, 12/10/2017. Today, the Senate of the Italian Republic held the presentation of "Il Disobbediente" ("The Disobedient"), a new book penned by the whistleblower Andrea Franzoso, who also co-hosted the event. The book has just been released by publishers Paper First, Societá Editoriale il Fatto Publications. The event was introduced by the President of the Italian Senate, Pietro Grasso (Former Anti-mafia Magistrate) and co-hosted, alongside the book's author, by Marco Lillo (Journalist, Author & Director of Paper First), Milena Gabanelli (Independent Investigative Journalist & television host), and Raffaele Cantone (Former Anti-mafia Magistrate & President of the Anti-corruption National Authority).<br />
In 2015, Andrea Franzoso, 40, was working as an official of the Ferrovie Nord ("[...] an Italian transport company, part of the FNM Group, that manages the network of regional railway concessions owned by the group in northern Italy [...]" - Source: Wikipedia.org) when he unveiled a scandal involving, allegedly, "crazy expenses" (about 600.000 Euros) made by the President of the Company, Norberto Achille, who was alleged to have used public money for personal business. Franzoso attempted at first to disclose the apparent ongoing wrongdoings at the company internally, but was told to "Lascia Stare" (leave it / give up)...<br />
