From the organisers press release: <<The structure, a collaborative piece with artist Mark Humphrey, stands at 7.5 metres high and will form a focal point for Remembrance until 16 November. The detailed brass sculpture of a First World War soldier has been engineered with the assistance of a team of British makers. As custodians of Remembrance, the Legion ensures that the memories of those who have fought and died in the British Armed Forces live on through the generations.
