London, 15/05/2017. Today, the "Progressive Alliance" was launched at the The Brewery in the City of London. The Progressive Alliance is not a political party but is meant to be "building a movement for better politics, where people and parties work together to create the change we want to see in society" (Source - Progressive Alliance website). Speakers included: Clive Lewis MP (Labour Party), Sian Berry & Jonathan Bartley (Green Party), Paul Mason (Journalist), Neal Lawson (Political commentator) Zoe Williams (Journalist at The Guardian), Sophie Walker (Women's Equality Party), Luke Wright (Poet, performer, publisher, curator and broadcaster), Uffe Elbaek (The Alternative, Denmark by video), Sirio Canos Donnay (Podemos, Spain), Christian Reilly (Comedian).<br />
