London, 21/06/2017. Today, on London's hottest day of the year - with temperature picks over 30 degrees Celsius - "Movement for Justice By Any Means Necessary" (MFJ) and members of the public marched from Shepherd's Bush to the Houses of Parliament ("Total length of the route is 5.56 miles"- Source: MFJ) to protest against the newly elected minority Conservative Government led by the former Secretary of State, Theresa May, to call for immediate rehousing of the residents of the Grenfell Tower, and to grant "amnesty and permanent UK residency for those without immigration papers" (Source - The Guardian.com). The march was one of the several other protests held on the so called "Day of Rage" coinciding with the state opening of the Parliament by HM Queen Elizabeth II. The MET Police arrested one protester who was released in the evening without charges.
