London, 11/01/2016. Today, David Bowie has died at the age of 69. During the day London's people gathered in Brixton (At Jimmy C graffiti, outside the house at 40 Stansfield Road where he was born, and for the street party outside the Ritzy Cinema) and outside 23 Heddon Street (Where a plaque commemorates Ziggy Stardust) to leave a flower, a message, an album, a candle, a letter; tokens to remember and commemorate a Londoner, an icon and a legend of the world music. David Bowie, real name David Robert Jones (8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016), was born in Brixton. He was an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, arranger, painter and actor. He died 18 months after being diagnosed with cancer. On the 8th of January, day of his 69th birthday, David Bowie released his 27th and last album: "Blackstar".<br />
