Today, the LSE (London School of Economics) presented a public lecture called "Why I am a Euro-optimist" hosted by Alain Juppé (Mayor of Bordeaux, former Prime Minister of France from 1995 to 1997, former President of the party Union for a Popular Movement from 2002 to 2004 - UMP; former Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2011 to 2012, former Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs from 2010 to 2011, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1995). Chair of the event was Professor Craig Calhoun (American sociologist and Director of LSE). Chair of the event was Maurice Fraser (Senior Fellow in European Politics, Director Agora Projects - publishing. Senior Counselor, APCO Worldwide. Special Adviser to UK Foreign Secretaries Douglas Hurd, John Major and Sir Geoffrey Howe, 1989 - 1995).<br />
