From the organiser Facebook event page: <<After all the protests to save Carnegie Library from the Council's Gym plans we have to go again - we can save the Carnegie - Protest! Protest! Lambeth Planning Committee Tuesday 7th February 6.30pm. We need you once more - stop these plans. Over 200 local residents have submitted objections to the Council's plans. We have to demand a stop is put to this plan>>. Before the planning committee started, protesters were allowed to attend the meeting through previous search of their belongings by private security guards.
