London, 18/05/2015. Today, "Electoral Reform Society" and "Unlock Democracy" handed a petition with 132,689 signatures to Downing Street calling the Government to make a fairer voting system reform ( #makeseatsmatchvotes ). The petition is supported by leading politicians from SNP, UKIP, Liberal Democrats, Green Party and Plaid Cymru, including: Leanne Wood AM (Welsh Politician, Leader of Plaid Cymru and Member of the National Assembly for Wales), Jonathan Edwards MP (Welsh Politician, Plaid Cymru Party Member of Parliament for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr), Douglas Carswell MP (English politician, UKIP Member of Parliament for Clacton), Nigel Farage (English Politician, Leader of UKIP), Suzanne Evans (English Politician, Deputy Chairman and head of policy of UKIP), Philippa Whitford MP (Scottish Politician, SNP Member of Parliament for Central Ayrshire), Alison Thewliss MP (Scottish Politician, SNP Member of Parliament for Glasgow Central), Baroness Sal Brinton (English Politician, Liberal Democrats Party President and member of the House of Lords), Tom Brake MP (English Politician, Liberal Democrats Member of Parliament for Carshalton & Wallington), Natalie Bennett (British politician, Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales).<br />
