London, 13/05/2014. Today, in the run up of the European Election (22-25 May 2014), the "European Greens London", presented a public debate called "Fortress or Open Europe" hosted by Ska Keller MEP (German politician and Member of the European Parliament for the Alliance '90/The Greens; she is specialized in the issues of migration and the EU's relations with Turkey; Green Candidate for the Presidency of the European Commission; MEP Green Candidate in Germany), Jean Lambert MEP (English politician, Member of the European Parliament for the London Region; she is a Vice-President of the Greens/European Free Alliance Group of MEPs; she is MEP Green Candidate for London), Nicholas de Genova (American lecturer of human geography at King's College London; he held the Swiss Chair in Mobility Studies during the Fall semester of 2009 as a visiting professor at the Institute of Social Anthropology at the University of Bern in Switzerland; former assistant professor of anthropology and Latino Studies at Columbia University from 2000 to 2009) and Don Flynn (Director of Migrant's Rights Network). Chair of the event was Violeta Vajda (Community activist and Romani Studies doctoral researcher at University of Sussex and Green MEP candidate for London).<br />
