Rome, 15/07/2019. Today, Rete Restiamo Umani - supported by several other organizations – held a demo outside the Italian Parliament, in Piazza Montecitorio, against the Decreto Sicurezza Bis (Decree Law n. 53, 14 June 2019, http://bit.do/eV3iZ) which was supposed to be discussed in the Parliament from today, which instead was postponed to the 22nd of July 2019. The rally saw protesters, activists and members of the public protesting, but also debating to find ideas and proposals, and how to continue the protests against the "controversial" decisions and policies of the coalition Government (League – Five Star Movement, http://bit.do/eZ562 )'s Interior Minister Matteo Salvini (League / Lega, http://bit.do/eE7Ey ). The so-called "Decreti Salvini / Decreto Sicurezza / Decreto Sicurezza Bis" (The first Decree is now Law of the Italian Republic, Legge 1° Dicembre 2018, n. 132, http://bit.do/eE7uo), made by the Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, are accused by protesters to be racist and strictly restrictive of civil liberties, including the right to protest. Moreover, the protest was in support and solidarity with people living in the housing occupation of Rome's Via Cardinal Capranica (300+ People including 80 minors), the abandoned school which was evicted during the night by the police. The demo was also against the decision of Salvini to keep closed the Italian ports to NGO vessels, and the strict new rules and fines about "saving migrants in the Mediterranean" contained in the Decreto Sicurezza Bis. People gathered outside Parliament also due to show that Italy is still an antifascist, anti-racist and welcoming Country and that its people are still aware and supporting International Laws which impose to rescue people when they are in need.<br />
