The demonstration called by the FBU (Fire Brigade Union) aimed to protest against the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) meeting where the discussion was about the plane to close 12 fire stations, make 520 firefighters compulsory redundant and remove 18 fire engines.
