Today, Theatre Garbatella & Antimafia Duemila held the presentation of the book "Il Patto Sporco E Il Silenzio" (The Dirty Pact And The Silence, Chiarelettere Editor, 1. 2.) hosted by the author Saverio Lodato (Journalist & Author), Antonino 'Nino' Di Matteo (Protagonist of the book, former Antimafia Magistrate of Palermo, Deputy Prosecutor of the DNAA - Anti-mafia & Anti-terrorism National Directorate - who "prosecuted the Italian State for conspiring with the Mafia in acts of murder and terror", 3.4.5), Andrea Purgatori (Journalist, Atlantide La7), Sigfrido Ranucci (Journalist, Report RAI 3). Chair of the event was Silvia Resta (Journalist & Author). The readers were: Lunetta Savino (Actress) & Luca Zingaretti (Actor, AKA the Inspector Montalbano in the TV series Commissario Montalbano). From the back cover of the book: "Let us ask ourselves why politics, institutions, culture, have needed the words of judges to finally begin to understand…A handful of magistrates and investigators have shown not to be afraid to prosecute the [Italian] State. Now others must do their part too" (Nino Di Matteo). From the book online page: "Now we know, against the opinion of many 'deniers', that the negotiation ["mafia-State negotiation" trial which is told in the book] not only was there but did not avoid more blood.
