Today, the LSE (London School of Economics and Political Studies) a public lecture - part of the Ralph Miliband Programme "War and Peace" lecture series - called "The Rise of China and its Impact on the Future Global Order" hosted by Kevin Rudd (Australian Politician; he was twice Prime Minister of Australia, from 2007 to 2010, and again in 2013; former Leader of the Australian Labor Party; in February 2014, he was named a Senior Fellow with John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University; in December 2014, he became a Senior Advisor with the political risk consulting firm Eurasia Group; he is President of the Asia Society Policy Institute in New York, ASPI, a "think-do tank" dedicated to second track diplomacy to assist governments and businesses on policy challenges within Asia, and between Asia, the US and the West). Chair of the event was Robin Archer (Associate Professor in Political Sociology and Director of the Ralph Miliband Programme at LSE).
