London, 21/11/2015. Today, Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants (LGSMigrants) organised a demonstration outside the Home Office to show support & solidarity with Migrants and Refugees and to protest against the media and the British Government plans about immigration. From the organiser Facebook page: <<Migrants in the UK and at our borders are facing increasing attacks by the government and by the media. The government will soon be passing an Immigration Bill that will prevent migrants from accessing housing and criminalise migrant workers. We're bringing queers and migrants together to stand in solidarity to defy the Home Office and what it represents. […] The LGBTQIA+ community has a proud tradition of standing in solidarity with other marginalised groups. As queer people we have experience of being demonised and deemed illegal by the state and the media. We have a responsibility to support people who are currently in that position. Migrants and refugees are today facing a crackdown by both the state and media - thousands have died at the borders just this year. […]>>.<br />
