Rome, 02/06/2019. Today, Italy celebrated the annual "Festa Della Repubblica" (Republic Day, 1.). The 73rd Anniversary of the Italian Republic (*) was marked with the "Raising the Flag Ceremony" and the tribute to the Sacello del Milite Ignoto (Unknown Soldier) at the Altare della Patria "Vittoriano" (2.) by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, followed by the traditional army, veterans and civilians parade along Via Dei Fori Imperiali. This year, the President of the Republic was accompanied by the Defence Minister Elisabetta Trenta, the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, the Presidents of the two Chambers of the Parliament, Roberto Fico and Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, several members of the Italian Government, political leaders, senior officers of the Armed Forces and representatives of the Civilian Organizations. At the end of the events the Frecce Tricolori, the Italian Aerobatic Team, coloured the sky over Rome with the Tricolore (Tricolour: Green, White, Red) of the Italian Flag. The theme for this year's event was inclusiveness. <br />
