Rome, 18/05/19. Today, thousands of people gathered in Piazza della Repubblica to attend the annual Marcia per la Vita (March For Life - For a life without compromise! 1.) and to reaffirm the yes to life. The march, which ended on the Fori Imperiali, reached this year its IX edition. This initiative was born to fight for the dignity of every human being from conception to natural death, in favour of birth, motherhood and childhood, to fight against the legalization of abortion (in Italy: Legge 194, Law No. 194 of 22 May 1978 on the social protection of the motherhood and the voluntary termination of pregnancy, 2.) and euthanasia, and to raise awareness of the dangers of the various Dats or "biological wills". The march was attended by families, young people and children, associations from around the world (including Ireland, Malta, Great Britain, United States, Poland, Argentina), religious representatives, including Catholic priests, nuns, the Cardinal Willem Jacobus Eijk, Metropolitan Archbishop of Utrecht, Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke, Archbishop and the patron of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Politicians, including Northern League party senator Simone Pillon (Political father of the Pillon Law DDL N. 735, 3.), and political movements/parties/organizations: including the right wing Fratelli D'Italia and the neo-fascist organization forza nuova.<br />
