Tonight, 10 Downing Street in the darkness welcomed Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (President of Indonesia and former army general officer) and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (President of Liberia; one of the founders and the political leader of National Patriotic Front of Liberia; first elected female head of state in Africa; 2011 Nobel Peace Prize, jointly with Leymah Gbowee of Liberia and Tawakel Karman of Yemen). William Hague (Foreign Secretary and First Secretary of State) was amongst those attending the meetings.
